EDUCATION AND CONTINUING EDUCATION

Since graduating, almost 20 years ago, I’ve pursued every continuing dental education opportunity that’s come my way. It’s essential I stay on the leading-edge of techniques, procedures, and new dental materials to achieve the best results for my patients.

I’ve completed many post-graduate courses on implant and restorative dentistry, geriatric dental care, and a wide range of general dentistry topics. By attending professional conferences, seminars, and lectures, I stay current on advancements and am able to provide patients with the widest range of proven care options.

Dentistry is more than fixing teeth: it’s building a connection with each patient and partnering with them to achieve their healthiest smile. Everyone in my care is important to me, as a person, and I am committed to providing them with advanced dentistry, tailored to their situation. At this practice, we care for people with dignity, respect, and compassion.

I encourage every patient to talk with me about their treatment goals and be upfront about their concerns, too. It’s only by truly understand what a person needs that my team and I are able to find the right treatment approach that keeps them smiling throughout their visits. I understand that everyone has their own financial, timeline, and emotional needs. We listen without judgment and work with our patients to identify the best process for them.

I’m a second-generation dentist. I grew up going to my dad’s office and worked for him doing dental lab work. Being exposed to that environment was instrumental in my deciding to become a dentist: I wanted to work with my hands and with people, forming lasting connections and improving each person’s life.

I’m a California native: I grew up in Cupertino and have lived in Arroyo Grande for almost 20 years. Outside of the office my family, and our pets, keep me busy!
