Changing Lives with Gentle Dental Care
Dentistry is more than fixing teeth: it’s building a connection with each patient and partnering with them to achieve their healthiest smile. Everyone in my care is important to me, as a person, and I am committed to providing them with advanced dentistry, tailored to their situation. At this practice, we care for people with dignity, respect, and compassion.
I encourage every patient to talk with me about their treatment goals and be upfront about their concerns, too. It’s only by truly understand what a person needs that my team and I are able to find the right treatment approach that keeps them smiling throughout their visits. I understand that everyone has their own financial, timeline, and emotional needs. We listen without judgment and work with our patients to identify the best process for them.
I’m a second-generation dentist. I grew up going to my dad’s office and worked for him doing dental lab work. Being exposed to that environment was instrumental in my deciding to become a dentist: I wanted to work with my hands and with people, forming lasting connections and improving each person’s life.
My team is incredible. Each goes above and beyond to make sure every patient feels comfortable, appreciated, and heard. We believe a dental visit should be a stress-free experience. From truly personalized customer care to advanced clinical treatment, we focus on making things easy for patients. My team is kind, giving, educated, and committed to delivering top-notch dental care.
Education and Continuing Education
- Doctorate of Dental Surgery, Loma Linda University
Since graduating, almost 20 years ago, I’ve pursued every continuing dental education opportunity that’s come my way. It’s essential I stay on the leading-edge of techniques, procedures, and new dental materials to achieve the best results for my patients.
I’ve completed many post-graduate courses on implant and restorative dentistry, geriatric dental care, and a wide range of general dentistry topics. By attending professional conferences, seminars, and lectures, I stay current on advancements and am able to provide patients with the widest range of proven care options.

Beyond the Practice
I’m a California native: I grew up in Cupertino and have lived in Arroyo Grande for almost 20 years. Outside of the office my family, and our pets, keep me busy!
My oldest daughter starts at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, majoring in Bio chemistry and Pre Med, in the fall of 2017. At the same time, my middle daughter will start high school at Mission Prep, and my youngest son will start Eighth Grade at Old Mission. Our family also includes three cats, a turtle, a rabbit, two fish, a dog, and 14 chickens!
I love watching and attending baseball games, as well as running around with my kids and supporting all their activities. From time-to-time my son and I play a round of golf, too. I also like the movies, working on cars and, of course, family vacations.
